I'm pleased to offer for sale this wonderful antique silverplate tilting water/coffee/tea pitcher with stand/carrier and the following fine features:
- Measures 20" tall total height with an 8" round platform base
- The silverplate is expertly etched with birds and flowers and the spout and handle feature proper repousse
- The carrier is itself quite ornate and remarkable, featuring exquisite craftsmanship in the crest and wings
- Marked: "Empire Silverplate Co. Triple Plated"
- There is some oxidation and wear to the silverplate throughout, and there is also a dent in the back bottom portion of the pitcher and the finial is compressed into the lid, but the lid closely snuggly and seals properly, the platform base sits flush, the pitcher holds liquid, and the tilting mechanics work perfectly
