by the Rioters of London Firing the New Goal of Newgate,
and Burning Mr. Ackerman's Furniture, etc., June 6, 1780".

"Barnard's New Complete and Authentic History England"
and shows the burning of " The New Goal"
which is an early English word for "prison"!
This is a sharp crisp looking print on laid period paper,
being well printed and distinct with full border margins
from the original copper plated impressed.
