Finely hand-crafted in Italy in the early 20th century, high quality construction, craftsmanship and materials, featuring a stunning serpentine shaped breccia marble top with most dramatic veining, over curvaceous solid wood bombe form case in rare and exotic banded kingwood parquetry, fitted with three dovetailed drawers, affixed with later faceted crystal knobs, having a shapely serpentine front, molded sides, scalloped apron, rising on flared feet.

As warm and handsome as they are functional, having the ideal size and proportions for a variety of different uses, including as a bedside night stand, sofa end table, occasional table, diminutive chest of drawers, hall consoles, to name just a few.

Great original antique condition with beautifully aged warm rich dark patina. Wear consistent with age and use, including minor scattered nicks. Original marble tops have minor chips. Nothing that detracts from the display or functionality but only adds to the sophisticated antique character, elegant rustic warmth, and rich historical depth that can only be acquired over long periods of time.
