Take a look at this fabulously-sized rustic, yet contemporary beauty handwoven from natural willow with a bent slender triple rattan pole handle; solid wood bottom for sturdiness. From urban to suburban, integrating baskets for style or storage is a way to bring a touch of nature into any space. From the hearth as a kindling wood basket to cachepot of sorts filled with faux or live plants (as shown in photo 2) or sitting next to your favorite reading chair filled with magazines and books, the natural basket still has a place in the modern home. This lovely measures 21½” high (including the handle; without the handle 12”; width 17½” x 14¼” depth. Interior height 11½”; interior width at top 15” and 10½” bottom; interior depth at top 12” and 7” bottom; weight 2 lbs. 2 oz. Colors on the main body are naturally aged willow in a honeyed hue with vegetable dyed rim and pedestal base in hues of charcoal and brick with a lightly lacquered finish. Excellent structural integrity and in overall excellent condition with minimal wear. No makers name or mark but it hails from the Ozarks; made in the late 20th century. Note, faux greens are not included.
