The vase is composed of two pieces - a lotus dish serving as the base and a lotus bowl as the top, which combine to form an exquisite image of an open lotus flower. The set has maintained its original finish and has been delicately polished. Each piece is engraved "Reed & Barton 3002" on the bottom.
