Crafted in France, circa 1870, the ceramic planter stands on tree trunk form feet and features an intricate pierced basket weave shape decor. Dressed with intricate branch form handles, the faience center piece is decorated with hand painted flowers and leaves in high relief on both sides. The diamond shape porcelain jardiniere is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns rich, vibrant colors in the beige, green, yellow, pink, white and brown palette.
