Veneered table top with solid wood edge and solid wood frame in teak. Made in Denmark. The tables are signed appropriately as shown in the photos. They are also all original as a set. The tables show some wear and patina as can be expected for vintage pieces. Overall, condition is lovely and original.


This set of 3 tables are in good used condition. They stand solid and firm.

Hans Jørgensen Wegner was a Danish furniture designer. His work, along with a concerted effort from several of his manufacturers, contributed to the international popularity of mid-century Danish design. His style is often described as Organic Functionality, a modernist school with emphasis on functionality.


Among Danish furniture designers, Hans J. Wegner (1914-2007) is considered one of the most creative, innovative, and prolific. Often referred to as the master of the chair, Wegner created almost 500 in his lifetime – many of them considered masterpieces. His iconic Wishbone Chair is probably the most well-known and has been in continuous production since 1950.
