This … Read more This is for a lovely Brass Ibex Gazelle pair of bookends from the Hollywood Regency era of the 1960's. This period is when exotic animals, gold and brass figurines were very popular in the design world. These are lacquered solid brass. These were hand crafted and have a sleek elegance to them. They have the wonderful sleek look and curved antlers that make them so interesting. They are bookends altho they can be also used as paperweights along with decorative statues.
These measure approx. : 7 inches tall x 4.25 inches wide x 2 inches deep.
What a wonderful gift for someones office book shelf or desk.
*There are some surface scratches on the lacquer which is shown in the picture with a pen pointed at the area.
