Lovely lidded brass cloisonne ginger jar, Chinese mid-20th Century, raised enamel decoration on gilded ground, delicate multi-hued pink and blue lotus flowers and scroll motif, blue interior and bottom. Wear consistent with age and use including some pitting of enamel at rim of outer top (pic 7) and imperfection of enamel on inner underside of lid (pic 10).
The far is 8" tall and approximately 6.5" wide.
