Beautiful and rare, vintage Murano hand blown grays and blacks feathered design Italian art glass flower vase. Documented to designer Ercole Barovier, for the Barovier e Toso company. Created in the Neolitico design, circa 1954. The vase still retains part of the red "Barovier & Toso Murano" item number label. The series is published in many books, including the one referenced below. The vase has a pulled feather pattern, and there are little dots of aventurine within the glass. You can see then in the close-up photo of the pattern. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or side table. Collectors item! Mid-century era. Measures: 6" tall x 3" wide.
