Antique 19th-century terracotta lamb cake/bread mold from the Alsace-Lorraine region of France. Two-part mold with wire spring clip and pumpkin color-glazed interior. During baking, the two pieces are held together with the spring clip placed upside-down in the oven. When the mold is removed a charming lamb-shaped bread/cake is created. Functional/usable. No maker's mark. Beautiful antique condition, some scuffs, light wear!!
