This porcelain vase features a traditional Chinese imperial red glaze and sumptuous hand-carved detailing in high relief , featuring imperial dragons chasing a flaming pearl and floral decoration. Unsigned, this large-sized vase stands 27" tall with a 10" diameter.
In the Chinese culture, the dragon represents good luck, strength, health and also the male element Yang. The dragon is unique because it is the only mythical creature of all the animals in the Chinese zodiac.
