A rare and highly collectible Mintons Majolica dessert service designed in 1867 by Dr. Christopher Dresser—one of the most influential British designers of the 19th century. Glazed in Mintons’ iconic deep green, each piece features a delicate lattice basketweave rim and a woven fan pattern center. Marked with the “BB” backstamp—used for only the finest Minton wares—and a date cypher for 1867.
Originally intended for dessert, this stunning 13-piece set is incredibly versatile. Use it for holiday entertaining—Christmas, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter—or elevate your next brunch, dinner party, or afternoon tea. Complete sets of this pattern are exceptionally rare, making this a true collector’s find.
Set includes:
10 dessert plates (9"Dia x 1"H)
2 serving plates (9.25"Dia / 23.5cm x 5.9cmH)
1 comport (9.5"Dia x 4.5"H)
