Delightful and unusual pair of fine Chinese Cloisonné ginger jars or vases. Beautifully made by hand to match, they are primarily rich royal blue with decorative pink and white flowers throughout on a background of stylised clouds. Upper ruyi and lappet borders in white and pale blue. Gilt work edging and rims.
These are quite unusual in their shape - melon/ovoid shape with ribbed bodies that add interest to these decorative items. The condition of these pieces is excellent as is the quality of the workmanship.
