Materials: pine logs. Color: dark brown. Also available in light brown. Segmento perceives ordinary objects in an abstracted form through the act of breaking down and reassembling material. Thick logs, solid and linear, are cut into segments and reassembled into compact and curving lines to create furniture of a fractured and angular nature, never symmetrical and different from any perspective. As the initial form of the material is as important as the outcome, the finish is either lightly stained or left transparent, allowing the essence to remain visible. this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
