It does have a repair on the side, and a minor chip on the lid, but it does not affect the extraordinary results the studio artist achieved here. It's absolutely one of our most heartfelt finds of the year.

The green felt remnant you see on the bottom was from us removing it to reveal the illegible signature, but we didn't completely remove it so that it gives an idea of its age. We are guessing Mid 20th Century.

We also love the three loops on the top which we think the artist put as hair or hat.

Condition: Overall very good but with repair to the edge of the rim and small surface chip on the lid. The slicing you see on the bottom of the jar we believe took place during the firing in the kiln.
