Offered is a hand carved snack bowl in Embuia wood - sometimes called Brazilian rosewood - in the style of Jean Gillon. The elongated body, sharp points, angled stem, and defined elevated pepper ribs are elements used by Gillon in his home accessories collections, and these pieces were unsigned and sold throughout Brazil. This one has the sticker of a gift boutique from Campinas, a small city in the mountains near São Paulo known as an elite weekend destination.
