This is a stunning and rare "Sharkstooth" Teardrop Glass Vase by Gunnar Nylund for Strombergshyttan, Sweden. It is done using the Italian glass technique of sommerso (meaning "submerged").
The vintage glass vase stands about 4.5" tall and is wide and 1.5" deep. The shape of the transparent teardrop is echoed in the contrasting amber colored sommerso accent. The bottom is incised with the maker's name and item number (see last photo).
In good vintage condition, no chips or scratches.
