The Bowl is stamped with the Limoges France Unique mark, which was created in 1929 by the union of Limoges porcelain manufacturers. This label was to certify that the item marked by it is a genuine Limoges, a city in central France, is highly regarded for its quality and craftsmanship. The Limoges France Unique mark was used for a short period of time along with factory mark U.C (UNION CÉRAMIQUE), a well-known French porcelain and ceramics manufacturer with a history dating back to the 19th century.
