Vintage Home is pleased to present this Antique Tramp Art Footstool. Everything is original on this piece. It features intricate ship carved layers of old-finish wood. The design has a star on two sides. The front and back sides have a temple design. The piece has a mustard-Amber colored jacquard fabric on top with nailhead trim. But its the four feet we love the best. They are also layered from the chip-carved wood in a medieval shape. The original shellac finish has aged into a gorgeous crackle adding an additional design feature to the antique footstool. The condition is very good and the piece can be used as a working footstool or a gorgeous antique decor item for display. It's a piece of Americana Folk Art.
