Clear, rounded-edge appendage “ice” forms at top with areas of pink and blue below that create optical effects from different angles. Shades of purple appear where the colors overlap and reflect. The lower bulb of the piece has wavelike water textures.

The artist’s inspirations were water and ice and their similarities to glass. He wanted to capture the way water and light interact at a moment in time.

Signed at base: “Kosta Polar G. Warff Atelier.”

Small chip at the underside base edge (9, 10) that doesn't show when displayed, and an uneven curve along the open edge of the pontil ring at underside.
Otherwise excellent condition.
