This is a rare and lovely Art Nouveau Celluloid bracelet bangle made in France in the 1910s. The piece features a hand-carved double ram head design, complimented with crystal rhinestones adorning the bracelet. The bracelet has a nice off-white color with black-contrasted carving and is ornate with clear and green crystal rhinestones near the ram heads and on the other side with a paved geometric motif. Ram's heads have green rhinestone eyes. Surely, it is a striking and unique bracelet.
The bracelet is in good condition, with minor wear for a piece dated more than 100 years old.
Measurements: Inside across is 2.50 in diameter (7 cm) - outside across is 3.19 in diameter (8.8 cm) - width is 0.38 in wide (1 cm) - inner circumference is 7.76 in long (22 cm). It will best fit a Large wrist, from 7.50 to 8.50 in circumference (19 to 21.5 cm).
Note: If your wrist is small, you can wear this bracelet on the upper arm. Flapper girls wore it like that in the Art Nouveau era.
