Finn juhl sw-96 armchair in teak and oak for søren willadsen, 1950s.
danish modern lounge chair model sw 96 designed by danish architect finn juhl for cabinetmaker søren willadsen, denmark. Only produced in limited numbers in the mid 1950s.
legs and frame in solid nordic oak. Flared armrests in solid teak. Woven cane seat and backrest. Original seat cushion included.
a copy of the book "historien om søren willadsens møbelfabrik" (the history of søren willadsens furniture factory) in danish is included. It shows hundreds of designs in photos and drawings made by søren willadsen. Among them this sw-96 designed by finn juhl.
very good vintage condition with all parts being original. A few strands of cane been repaired. Beautiful patina consistent with age and use.
