When I did a Google lens search for these plates I found two other individual plates that were similar, but you could tell they were hand-painted because they weren’t identical. They also had the blue markings on the back. Each sold for between 350 and 400 for an individual plate.

Age: Antique, unknown but the other ads I found said these were from the 1800s
Height: 2 inches
Width: 6 inches
Depth: 6 inches
Origin: Japan
Condition: good

There are three steps involved in my research for pricing, and you can do this too.

1. Use an app called Google Lens to take a photo of any item. It will bring up similar items and how much they sell/sold for. This is also helpful in figuring out what to call or how to describe the item.

2. Do a Google search for the name of the item.

3. Do a search for the item by name on Chairish and another similar site.

Since I am being fair with my pricing, I want you to know how to do this. It will only help me by validating my pricing choices, and hopefully it will help you to recognize items that are overpriced.
