The oval pendant is fitted with a lock of hair behind a protective plastic case (does not open). The reverse side features an intricate decorative foliate pattern with a contrasting square pattern. The hair locket was popular during the Victorian era when a memento was placed inside a pendant or locket to memorialise a loved one.

The pendant is in very good original condition showing minimal wear.
