Dimensions: 19 ⅝” H x 9 ⅞” D
A rare Italian blown glass damigiana or demijohn hand-crafted in Italy circa 1800. Handmade of a gorgeous aqua blue glass teardrop that exhibits trapped air bubbles within the glass and with a sheared lip. Its simply elegant pear form and unique color make this glass vessel (used for transporting wine in 19th century Italy) a highly collectible item. In very good antique condition, this piece would make a great addition to any space giving it the elements of texture and dimension.
