This Really is a Great Looking Original Matching Pair of Antique Northeastern American Region Snow Shoes. Circa Early 20th Century. … Read more This Really is a Great Looking Original Matching Pair of Antique Northeastern American Region Snow Shoes. Circa Early 20th Century. They are Rendered in The "Bear Paw" Style - Shape. They are Completely Hand Made. The Frames are Made out of Steam Bent Indigenous North American Ash Wood and They Still Retain Their Original Varnish. They have Substantially Hand Woven & Braided Genuine Sinew Netting. They are in Excellent Cosmetic and Structural Condition and They Display Nicely. The Original Thick Cowhide Leather Foot Fasteners are Also in Very Nice Condition and They Could Actually be Used but I Would Recommend That You Use a Good Leather Conditioner First and The Top Leather Cord Tie Laces Will Probably Need to Be Replaced. They have No Maker or Other Markings but I Purchased Them in The "Down East" Coastal Maine Region and I a Confident that is Where They Were Made. Perfect for Wall Display in a Rustic - Adirondack Setting.
Each Measures Approx. 32 1/2 inches Long x inches 13 inches Wide x 1 inch Tall.
