This wonderful figurine is made of porcelain. This piece is stamped as being made in 1974 by Beswick in England, see pictures, and it is a depiction of the character Sally Henny Penny from the Beatrix Potter novel "The Tale of Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle." Sally Henny Penny is depicted here with orange and yellow feathers with red accents, a black cloak and black hat, with two yellow chicks at her feet.
The measurements: height=3 3/4" width=2 1/2" depth=1 1/2" approx.
