No tags on it either. Due to that, there is no tag I will be using the term attribution. I bought two Harvey Probber chairs from a Fairfield County estate. Both chairs are Probber. It is an
unmatching pair which I am selling individually. These chairs were custom made at the
time. I don't believe they were factory-made. Coiled springs were utilized along with
burlap strapping. The use of tacks was employed to hold the cambric on the base of
chairs. Tacks are a tell regarding US made chairs. Staples were not employed until post-1958. I always check this out to get an idea of when the chair was made. I employed faux shearling boucle in anticipation of colder weather. See less
