The square table is in Ming Dynasty style was specially made for cooking with a large wok. A large circle is cut in the center of the table, The wood has been stripped or unfinished. It has openwork spandrels in a lattice pattern on all four sides. The straight legs are strengthened by two straight braces. A medallion carved in the stylized character "wan" is inserted in between the two braces,. Each medallion served as a decoration as well as support . The legs looked as if they have once been wet. Dating is difficult, probably post 1950's. The dimensions are approximately 36 inches square and 33 inches high.
