The vibrant red, blues, and ivories that decorate this beautiful antique Kazak carpet are all representative of early Caucasian weaving. Its tribal geometric design is in line with the finest of Caucasians, while the composition is characterized by a series of various, floral shapes and medallions resting in the center of the field. The piece is replete with traditionally Caucasian design elements, and tribal motifs appear throughout the carpet.
