Established in 1862 and operational until 1950, Reading Hardware Company, located in Reading, Pennsylvania, began as a hardware manufacturer founded by Ferdinand Guth and George S. Kress. Its initial offerings included builders' hardware, locks, hinges, and diverse metal products, earning recognition for quality and innovation in residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
This Rococo style asymmetrical door knob was made by Reading in the 1895 catalog. It is part of the B-21600 Eulalia group. Priced as a pair of knobs with a spindle.
