One of the nicest Mid-Century Americana Folk Art Crewel Needlepoints we’ve come across. The execution by the artist is exceptional. The colors are deep and the contrast of the red-orange poppies and multiple shades of green against the beige ground is stunning. When we traveled to Greece we loved seeing all the poppies grow wild along the roads. This piece reminded us of those travels. The wood frame is era appropriate.
