Circa 1950s-60s, Vintage; Hollywood Regency era, gorgeously unique and unusual, Asian, porcelain ceramic, crackle lamp, with a large square-shaped body, … Read more Circa 1950s-60s, Vintage; Hollywood Regency era, gorgeously unique and unusual, Asian, porcelain ceramic, crackle lamp, with a large square-shaped body, with a voluminous, vaulted, dome-like shape to the top of the lamp. The body is perched on a solid square Greek Key black matte base, also porcelain ceramic, and distinctively, Asian inspired., but was a transitional, up to date look. The base is slightly recessed and smaller to the body of the lamp, which resonates, in a stately stature with great presence. We took the liberty in having the lamp professionally, re-wired, the lamp, with a brass socket, 3-way switch, new wiring, and an on/off switch, to have easier accessibility, to turn the lamp on and off. We decide to retain the original harp, brass ball finial top, and brass neck, for the patina, as it is also a nod to the past, without the new hardware detracting the overall look and feel. We also are including a smaller harp for smaller drum or shade sizes. The lamp may take any type of shade configuration, given individual's own desirability. From a Delray Beach, Florida Estate.
