A finely crafted 1980s American studio pottery vase, hand-thrown in a cylindrical form with a subtly flared rim. The wheel-turned ribbing accentuates its tactile surface, finished in a copper-brown reduction glaze that shifts between metallic luster and earthen warmth. The unglazed red-clay base reflects the authenticity of small-batch studio production.
Balancing Brutalist honesty with modern refinement, this vase functions beautifully as both vessel and sculpture. Its restrained silhouette and reflective finish complement organic, rustic, and contemporary interiors alike—a timeless expression of American craftsmanship.
