This is a pressed glass piece versus … Read more Vintage Home is pleased to offer this Hand-crafted Glass Bulb Vase from Portugal. This is a pressed glass piece versus a Blown Glass creation. The artist creates its shape from a hand-crafted clay mold that glass is pressed into, creating its unique shape. In American, this aged glass making was used extensively in the early 1900s by companies like Indiana Glass and Sandwich Glass. The difference was the American molds were not hand-crafted. This is from our private collection purchased years ago when in Europe.
