Meissen Blue Onion dish.
Square dish made by the Meissen manufacture with Blue Onion decoration.
This refined dish that can have the function of the center table or object holder, is made with a pierced basket on the edge typical of the exposive dishes.
Inspired by the Chinese porcelain, Meissen decorators created a similar reason that was nicknamed Blue onion and which began to be produced since 1740.
The Meissen porcelain or even "Porcelain of Dresden" was one of the first European examples of porcelain production.
Developed since 1708 by Ehrenfried Walther von Tchirnhaus and by his helper Johann Friedrich Böttger, who had the merit of introducing the pieces on the market.
The dish is in perfect condition as can be seen from the photos.
The brand on the back allows us to place it in a temporal space from 1934 to 1972.
Measurements: 24 cm for 24 cm. This piece has an attribution mark,
