The "wet drapery," motif or"tromp l'eoi," design or "fool the eye," as the terminology of designation is often given and described as, are given to, often a much coveted and used esthetic in furniture and design, as well as art movements, in the past. It is often used within collections designed by some notable Designer's of our times.
