David was born in Newcastle in 1952.He received his art education from Sunderland Polytechnic and from the Lancaster School of Art.Combining texture, color and text creates his modern, symbolic style.His work is done on highly textured metallic foiled hand made paper, which is embedded within the layers.His work has been exhibited worldwide, and he has developed a following in the US.
