Lovely landscape of historic Mont Saint Michel Abbey in northwestern France painted in subdued tones of pink and blue. Signed lower right by the artist; appears to be written in the French manner with the last name first, then the first name "Colettte" and perhaps (?) the date of '69 (1969). A beautiful and peaceful artwork for a bedroom, entry, or living area. Professionally matted, glazed, and framed in gilt wood. Framer's label retained on back. Ready to hang.
Dimensions: overall, 22"W x 1.25"D x 18.5"H; image, 15"W x 11.5"H.
Excellent vintage condition with soothing soft coloration; minimal wear to frame finish, small tears in backing paper which are not seen when hung.
