This lovely large soup bowl is made of porcelain. This piece is stamped "Imperial" with a back stamp indicating it was made by John Edwards in England, see pictures; the stamp dates this piece to 1891-1900. This wonderful lidded bowl is made in a gorgeous white color with marvelous gold handles and subtle ribbed detailing; this bowl was used to serve soup, and the lid has an opening in which the handle of a ladle can rest.
The measurements: height including handle=8 1/4" width including handles=13 1/4" depth=7 3/4" approx.
