This porcelain cider pitcher was made in Limoges France. Tons of these 'blank/undecorated' white wares were shipped to the United States in the early 1900's where they were painted by a professional, a gifted amateur or women who socialized together while painting these wares. This piece is artist signed and depicts a botanical theme replete with blackberries, leaves, vines, and flowers. The dominant color is green with a gilded handle.
