Hand carved from wood, the tall fixture stands on an impressive tripod base with deeply scrolled feet, volute carvings, and floral medallion motifs, showcasing the richly sculptural craftsmanship associated with Italian decorative arts of the period.
The elongated stem is adorned with carved acanthus leaf ornamentation, gadrooned collars, and beaded details, all highlighted by the original two-tone painted and polychrome finish in soft grey and warm brown tones. The aged surface has developed a beautifully layered patina over time, enhancing the architectural silhouette and carved depth throughout.
The lamp retains its faux candle sleeves and has been professionally rewired with double sockets for modern use.
