This drop side or Pembroke table is an example of expert craftsmanship. It is handmade of mahogany and features so many points of quality in is construction and finish.
The top is actually 2 pieces perfectly seamed with a tongue and grove joint filled with brass. The seam is invisible. The 2 drop leaves are scalloped and fit perfectly to the table when raised. They are supported by handmade wooden brackets.
The drawer face is carved and the inside drawer bottom is made of beautiful chestnut. The knob is aged brass.
The legs are tapered, Federal style, and have black accents carved near the bottom.
The finish is original and has a satin smooth look and feel.
The table top is 20.25”w with leaves down and 37”w with leaves extended.
