This gorgeous spitoon is made out of porcelain. This piece is stamped as being made by Carl Tielsch for Altwasser in Germany, see pictures, and the stamp dates this piece to 1875-1935. This spitoon, item number 4624, was used to spit tobacco into by those who chewed tobacco; this piece has a square-shaped silhouette with a ruffled rim design, it features a beautiful pink and brown color scheme with a lovely blue and pink floral motif on the front.
The measurements: height=5 3/4" width=7 1/4" depth=7 1/4" approx.
