The vintage art book is published by Dover Publications Inc. New York, printed in The United States in 1972. It features a monograph survey of the Art Nouveau style drawing artworks of the artist Gustav Klimt, with compelling accompanied text introduction authored by art historian Alfred Werner.

Gustav Klimt ( 1862 - 1918 ) was an Austrian Symbolist painter and one of the most prominent members of The Vienna Secession Movement. Klimt was one of the most radical artists of The Twentieth Century. Through his intensely decorative and erotic style, he pushed the boundaries of traditional artistic convention, paving the way for Modernist of the future. Artworks by Klimt are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.

It has often been said that Klimt's drawings were perhaps his ultimate artistic achievement. While there are only about 200 completed paintings, the drawings number in the thousands.
