The piece features a faceted geometric triangle shard motif in brushed steel . The highly stylized cubist elements and top detailing in writhing caste iron framing evokes overlapping sunbursts with cross hatched centers. Beautifully even hand-hammered stippled texturing marks nearly every exposed surface of the piece giving intrigue and prolonged viewing at a variety of distances.
