Antique Japanese Sansui Sometsuke, blue and white charger plate, circa 1820 -1849, late Edo, early Meiji era.
7 spur marks at base where the plate sat in kiln to be fired. Features a landscape motif of house on a lake shore and mountains in the distance. Rim is bordered with light Gosu blue under glaze in a repeating geometric pattern. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks, or repairs. Measures approximately 12.5" x 2" tall.
