In this snow-filled composition, a lush forest is depicted beside a semi-frozen lake in the early morning of the day. The air is calm, as the reflection of the trees are beautifully cast on the still waters.
The artist has used a restrained palette comprising mellow shades of green, white and yellow; and together with the soft and light brushstrokes, the work evokes an overall sense of visual calm and tranquility.
