This piece has a gorgeous traditional Japanese style design, it features a repeating image of a red and yellow phoenix bird with a house surrounded by what appears to be a lotus tree in the center; the plate has a lovely overall red, blue, white, and tan color scheme. We believe this plate was made by Imari in Japan due to the design, however please note there is no makers mark or stamp. There is a fixture attached to the bottom of the plate that would allow it to be hung up.
